The abstract pointed saddle with the surrounding floor, wall and roof elements interprets the archetype of a house in a contemporary way. Glazed slits in the roof and wall let light in and offer privacy. Components, joints and cuts (for PV systems) of different widths along the axis of the building create a rhythm. The two front sides, each with a large framed door, are fully glazed. The construction thus appears light and transparent. Depending on the location, the impression of an extended filigree spiral is created.

 

Water and electricity connections for the lighting are available, the waste water is carried out laterally via flexible pipes. The construction consists of a wooden frame, a robust base plate and a cladding made of raw material. This is screwed invisibly so that everything looks as if it were made of one piece. An area of 8.5 x 3.5 m is required for installation, the height is adjusted using specially manufactured feet.

 

The Wooden Garden House is manufactured in three versions: painted dark or white (stained?) and in pure wood for the natural look. The dark variant in particular looks classy and sophisticated, especially in contrast to the built environment. And if you sit in the white garden house, you'll think you're on the deck of an elegant Italian yacht.
